Carolyn greets you from our front yard. Home Style Accommodations have remained our unique specialized service for the independent traveler. While in Anchorage we will stay in our home facilities. Located in the forested acreage of the Chugach Mountains, guests relax in our spacious home as we plan our daily adventures. Home accommodations provide a 400 square foot private suite and additional private guest rooms. Moose frequent our yard and find humurous opportunities to interrupt our meals. Meals are served family and buffet style and self prepared lunches are coordinated with the activities of the day that may find us on the river, in the mountains, on the trail or visiting one of the natural or native culture centers. Clients rave about Carolyn's menus. Don't come on this vacation expecting to lose weight. Just enjoy yourself. It gives us pleasure to serve our guests. Special diets are available upon written request with advance notice. Our family is non-alcoholic and tobaccoless. We will not be serving any alcoholic beverages. Smoking is limited to outdoors. We also enjoy Anchorage cuisine and occasionally dine out at one of Alaska's many colorful restaurants. Our Anchorage home is a great stageing area before we launch into the wilderness. Convenience shopping and laundry facilites are available from this facility.
