The
Brensing family from Kansas prepare for some fall sightseeing.
Early snowcaped mountains stand brightly beyond the golden trees
and green evergreens. Black bears feed on the high mountain
slopes for berrys. In Alaska this is our September Autumn.
After
an hour hike into the most remote and beautiful lake on the
Kenai, we pull out our hidden canoes for a day of water
adventure. Bears and goats are found on the mountain sides while
we silently paddle the glassy glacier blue water.
After
a vigorating hike into this remote lake, guests fly out with our
float plane pilot in a supercub float plane.
What
a great way to camp and fish. Salmon rush in on each incoming
tide. Here we camp and take a break between the tides. We are not
alone and remain vigiliant for brown bears also waiting for the
salmon rush.
Carolyn (right) summits another spring mountain with
climbing friend. She knows the mild slopes that can reach the
peaks for even the mildests hikers.
