Wilderness Log Cabins

Wilderness accommodations may be at our forest cabins deep in the heart of the Chugach mountains, near the historical gold mining town of Hope, Alaska. While on the Kenai Peninsula you will enjoy our rustic log cabin facilities. The small creek that meanders through our property adds to the natural symphonic atmosphere. We have several private log cabins for guests. A large group cabin can sleep a family of six while we reserve our "honeymoon" cabin located across the creek for our special couples. In 1999 we opened our third guest cabin across the creek for improved privacy. Meals are served in our cozy dinning room attached to our personal "A" frame cabin. Hot showers, and bathroom facilities make this a great wilderness headquarters after a day of exploring and hiking. Our cabins are only a few hundred yards away from the famous "Resurrection trail." It was on Resurrection that the first goldseekers came in 1897 and established the first community. Much of the town remains like the turn of the century. The late Erma Bombeck wrote many tales of her enjoyable visits to Hope, Alaska. There are many hiking and climbing opportunities for both day and overnight treks. Moose, Caribou, Brown and Black Bear, Sheep, Goats and Wolves inhabit the rich coast forest of the Chugach National Forest.
